PREPARING LEGAL DOCUMENTS FOR THE BINDERY

It is important that you follow.our guidelines for preparing your volumes so that we can process your order more efficiently at the Bindery:
  
We must have a properly filled out Bound Volumes Form with your order at the time we receive it. Attach an itemized list of the titles and quantities included in your order. 

We bind your material as we receive it and cannot be responsible for document or page sequence. Maximum thickness: We suggest no more that 3 ½”

Pages of differing sizes will be bound even at the top unless otherwise specified.

Tie the Documents together. Use twine or a heavy rubberband to hold them together or put them in a large envelope. Include a Bound Volumes Order  and a  Lettering Form with each Volume. If you are sending in more than one copy of a Document, you can use one form for the original and the duplicates.

For Ownership Imprints, include one Bound Volumes Form for each name.

Pack the Volumes in regular sized boxes ready for pick up on your scheduled day.

Prices above are for standard volumes, 11" in height, up to 2 ½" thick, using stock materials for the cover and Kater-Crafts standard spine lettering. Please see the materials color chart. All prices are subject to change without notice. We require a 50% deposit with your order.

EXTRA CHARGES  
          $ 10.   Plastic Tabs per set of 25 (1-25, 26-50, etc.)
                  No partial sets. We prefer to send the tabs to you for insertion.
          $ 13.   Leather Tabs, per tab
          $ 15.   Volumes over 2 ½" thick, per inch or fraction (4½" maximum)
          $ 15.   Extend covers
          $ 30.   Matching volumes (Not Kater-Crafts standard) per volume
          $ 30.   Front cover lettering
          $   6.   Gold lines on spine panels (top and bottom lines included in price)
                  Custom logo stamping: Available on the front or spine. 
                  Your company logo or other artwork. Inquire for details.
          $60.   Per hour. Excessive preparatory work: removing staples, refolding pages, 
                 inserting pockets, etc.

PICK UP AND DELIVERY:
Normal delivery: Approximately 6 Weeks Minimum pickup: 5 Bound Volumes
Charge for pick up of less than 5 volumes $ 40.
All orders will be charged UPS return freight.

RUSH SERVICE:
RUSH Charges per volume (plus binding) :
        $ 50. Completed in 10 working days.
         $ 75. Completed in 5 working days.
